Booking Terms

1. Guests checking into the hotel should be at 18 or above

2. The hotel has the right to refuse check in guests of check in including blacklisted guests, even though payment has been made. However, a refund will be available.

3. The hotel rate is not valid for customers holiding a business customer of the hotel. We can only refund the paid amount.

4. Hotel guests are not permitted to undertake any illegal behaviour while staying in the hotel.

5. For customers who choose bank transfer, please keep your transfer slip once you have made the payment. Please also fax or email the slip to our company and contact our staff immediately. If we do not receive your payment confirmation, your booking will be cancelled without any notice. We can only refund the payment that you have made. We will not give any compensation.

6. For hotel check-in, customers are required to provide correct Family Name and First Name.

7.. The hotel rate is per room per night, which includes government tax and service charge.

8. . Certain hotel rooms may have guest restrictions, eg. Twin/Double rooms only allow 2 guests to stay. If the number of guests exceed the maximum number of rooms, you may be refused check in or you may need to pay a surcharge.

9. If there’s an unexpected promotion for the local hotel at the time of check in, we do not provide refund service or paying back the difference.

10. Once the hotel reservation has been confirmed, whole period guarantee is needed for the reservation. The accommodation should not be cancelled, refunded or modified in any case. There will be no partial refunds, the full amount must be paid.

11. Standard room will be given if there’s no special request, eg Non smoking room, double room, higher floor, view etc., We will forward the request to the hotel. Unfortunately, we are not guarantee request as the hotel will ake the final dicision.

12. Some hotels in China provide single rooms which are double bed size according to international standards . When making a hotel booking, please inform our travel consultant as to the type of room before confirming reservations.

13. Hotel grading is to rate the overall quality, service, food, facility of hotel and is for reference only.

14. In case of currency fluctuations, there may be additional charges to cover the exchange rate.

Liabilities and General

  1. You warrant that you legally bound to enter into this contract. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
  2. Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain insurance for travel, medical and or otherwise.
  3. Although we take reasonable care to ensure that published descriptions are correct we do not own or operate hotels or other accommodation or travel services. We accept no liability for errors or omissions in the description of accommodation or other travel services on the web site. We reserve the right to change your accommodation booking to one of at least comparable standard and to notify you of such change as soon as possible after it occurs. No compensation is payable for such changes. In extreme circumstances we may be forced to cancel your booking in which case you will be notified of such change as soon as possible.
  4. In no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential and indirect loss or damage.
  5. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations, which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance, which is beyond our reasonable control. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as such circumstances: act of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, revolution, the act of any government or authority (including but not limited to refusal or revocation of any licence or consent), fire, flood, epidemic (including sudden influzena & S.A.R.S etc), lightning, explosion, fog or bad weather, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations undertaken by the hotel or other accommodations or accommodation providers, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, blockade.
  6. We reserve the right to change these bookings terms and conditions from time to time.
  7. To the extent permitted in law, all conditions, warranties or obligations whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded and these terms shall apply in their place. However, this will not apply to Edmond Travel's liability for death or personal injury caused by Edmond Travel's negligence, in respect of which there is no limitation.

 
Governing Law
The use of this web-site and the terms and conditions set out above shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
